William Stanish, Ph.D., is a biostatistician and a statistical programmer. He also heads up the publishing company, Golden Rock Books, which published this book. The End of the Curse is his first book.

     He grew up in the Chicago area, and was a fan of both the Cubs and the White Sox. He has worked and studied in Colorado, Utah, and North Carolina, and now makes his home in Asheville.

     Golden Rock Books is a new publishing company. Its first book is The End of the Curse: A Poetic and Photographic Account of Game 7 of the 2016 World Series, Chicago Cubs vs. Cleveland Indians, by William Stanish.
